Technical Leader | In this position at Almac Group, I designed and incorporated advanced methods and techniques in molecular biology for biocatalytic applications. Duties for this R/D position included leading researching and prototyping technical innovation, tailoring projects for customers, and pitching ideas internally and externally. |
Research Fellow Principal Investigator | Based at University of Kent, I conducted independent research, teaching administrative duties, and coordinate inter-institutional projects between three universities. My research target was to bridge cell biology and molecular systems biology to establish a synthetic, protein based framework for quantitative cell biology. I employed recent techniques including dCas9-RNA based transcriptional control and optogenetics in the yeast systems. In addition, we recently discovered an interesting new structure in exosome biogenesis in cancer cells. My interests span fundamental and industrially relevant research topics in cell biology, control systems and biologics production. |
Postdoctoral Research Fellow | After obtaining my PhD, I worked in the research group of Prof Attila Becskei at University of Zurich and University of Basel, expanding research capacity to molecular systems biology and acquired mathematical modelling as well as deep understanding of qRT-PCR for gene expression. |
